Hunting season comes in in October for bow, and November for rifle. Historically, hubby hasn't really seen much until January. Last winter, we tried to make sure that hubby had plenty of time to go down to Pa's house. And this was the first weekend we were back in Alabama, so we all went down!
Check out that man beard!
It is fun to go out on walks between the morning and evening hunts. And, may I point out that it is January, and several of us were wearing short sleeves :p
It's amazing how much more grown up he looks.
He's a cutie pie!
Saturday we played Liverpool for a while and ate chili, because Liverpool and chili go hand in hand at Pa's house.
Poor MandyPants was struggling with some stomach issues at the time. She made it on the walk with us, but had to step off the beaten path for a bit. She said "spray painting" was involved.... but I know she didn't bring any with her ;)
Pants and the kids and I came home on Sunday afternoon, early enough to do laundry and get ready for the day. Joe and hubby stayed to go hunting one more time that evening. Joe shot something, but they couldn't track it down to complete the harvest. They didn't get home until 1am that night trying to find that dang deer! Poor guys! And poor deer!
