Christmas in Utah, Day 4 (Christmas Eve)

Monday we woke up bright and early (because of the whole time change thing...).  We left the kids at the Websters, and went to do some last minute shopping.  We grabbed lunch at WhataBurger and then picked up Grandma and Grandpa at the airport!

We brought them home and did some hanging out, as well as cooking (Gotta have those German Pancakes ready!)
And cute Buford was willing to cuddle with her uncle.  He just looks scary.  She really was cute and cuddly with him for the majority of the trip.
Once we at dinner, it was time to get spiritual.  We had the kids act out the nativity, with Grandpa narrating from the Bible.
Grandpa narrating goes back to my childhood.  It was nice to be able to share that with my kids!
Then it was time to open the Christmas Jammies!
I am not sure how this tradition started, especially since it is not specific to our family.  But....  Still fun!
Even baby Alice got in on the fun!
 Hi Beffy!
 All the Thompson cousins!
 Just the smith family.
Once the nativity and jammies were over, we cuddled for a bit on the couch to watch some "Mormon Messages" about Christmas.
And, because I was sitting next to hubby, I was able to get in on the cuddling.
Hubby was lucky enough to be entrusted with the baby Jesus when Beffy had to go brush her teeth.
And there may or may not have been some phone stealing and selfie taking.
And then it was time for bed!  Can't be awake when Santa comes!
