In addition to celebrating Kari's birthday, we also celebrate New Years Eve... I guess cuz, you know, they happen on the same day. For New Years, we invited Grandma Pat to eat dinner with us!
She was able to eat Kari's birthday dinner with us, with the BYU/Utah football game going in the background.
After dinner, while we waited for the magical hour, we spent most of the time putting together puzzles.
The boys worked well together.
And the girls were able to do all their puzzles too!
We let the kids celebrate New Years on the East coast :) They were excited to pop poppers and toast each other with some fancy stuff.
Gosh, we Mormons sure know how to party!
The aftermath of the evening makes me smile :)
