Banning Mills

So, after hubby woke up bright and early to take the girls to get shoes, we got ready to go!  We waited for the Hills to come over, so our big girls could watch Abel while we were gone.  And we drove off out into the wild blue yonder!  Once we got there, we signed our waivers, and headed out for our orientation.  Cheese!
During orientation, they made sure we were suited up properly and taught us how to get off and on the cables.
 Our big, happy, group!
Then, we climbed some trees to the platform and we were off!!!  There were several zip lines between several trees.  And we were warned if the needed to go slow, or told how to position ourselves if we wanted to go the fastest possible.
Thankfully, the trees had these nice stairways to go up, so we didn't have to actually climb the trees like we did in the Redwoods.
After the ziplining portion, there were several balance bridges and cables to cross.  This part was not my favorite.  It actually required work and balance!
I mean, look at how far that bridge stretches across the river!!!
And, because I am not so fond of edges, even though heights themselves don't bother me so much, this was just not my most favorite part.
 But golly we look good!
On the way home, we ate lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, and met up with Olivia (the Hills oldest daughter, who was coming to visit from college).  We got home in time for a good nights rest!
