Almost a month ago I was getting ready to travel up to visit with my inlaws. While I was there I received the tragic news that my Grandfather was at deaths door. I booked a ticket knowing I wouldn't be able to see him again in this life, but hoping to be there for his funeral. After that, my sister and parents followed me home for Kaitlyn's baptism and then a week of fun and shenanigans. The whole time, my computer was being stupid and only charging in certain positions. So, here I am, still waiting on computer fixes, and perilously holding my computer in certain positions to make sure it charges. And, believe it or not, I have 2 weeks before school starts! Crazy, right?!?! So, I think I am just going to go ahead and take the next two weeks off. Imma fix the ding dang computer and get a few more things ironed out before we start 5th, 3rd, and 1st grade. I DO plan on coming back. I DO plan on continually sharing all kinds of things that are more than likely boring with my signature humor and a satirical twist. Be patient my friends. I shall return.

Couple Complications
Things happening. Will have to catch up when I have the time, but I will have plenty to catch up on! It may be a week or more... Rest assured, I will be back. Because I know that is what you were worried about!

Happy Fourth
I know it is a tad early, but this weekend is going to be super busy. I'll still be around, but I won't have time to post. I should be back on Tuesday.
So, for now, Happy Independence Day!!!

Into the Woods
Last weekend was our stake (church) annual Activity Day Girls Camp for the 8-11 year old girls. They meet a few times a month do to activities. Sometimes they are spiritually based, sometimes they are life skills, and sometimes they are just for fun.
The theme for this year was Into the Woods. They focused on the First Vision of Joseph Smith (when he went into the woods and prayed). They also focused on pioneer activities: the girls churned their own butter and dipped their own candles.
I'm so glad they have friends they enjoy being with and that there is a safe place they can go to have fun but also learn things about themselves and their Heavenly Father.
