3rd Week of June, 2018

This is what the pool looked like when we got back home in the early part of the morning on Sunday.
On Monday, we had some work to do.  This is an older picture, but see that grass on the left hand side?  We decided to run some piping in that space to be able to have somewhere to drain the pool.  We met with Bug that day to discuss concrete.  And then we had to get to work getting the trenches done for the pipe.  Again, late June in Alabama is hot, and the work was sweaty :p  And we were under a deadline because at this point Bug was either waiting on us to get it done, or we weren't going to be able to do it.  We decided to rent a trencher from Home Depot to make the digging go faster and then had to finish it a little bit by hand.  That took both Monday and Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday, hubby and I went rock shopping.  Bug suggested that we have a diving rock instead of a diving board.  He said it is better for insurance purposes (although we later found out that our insurance didn't seem to care) and that we didn't particularly have a deep end suited for a diving board.  So, we went to a local gardening place and looked at the rocks.  Which didn't feel weird at all :p
We liked that this one had multiple tiers and that it had a curve, so that it would fit nicely around the edge of the pool.
So Tuesday, we finished the trenches and picked out a rock.  Yay!
