On Monday, hubby flew down to Florida to work. He was able to visit with family, work and not take too much vacation time. It was actually pretty dang convenient. And, we hung out with Taylor again that day.
On Tuesday, it was a bit rainy. But we needed to get out of the house. So we tagged along when Pop went for his walk down at the locks. We took a picnic, and the kids climbed some trees.
On Wednesday, we took a day trip to Williamsburg. My friend Becca lived there, and we thought it would be a perfect day to go visit! She had come to visit us in Alabama a while ago, so it was fun to visit her! The I was able to go with her to pick up her son from school, and then she taught us how to play Ticket to Ride! It is one of our new favorite games. It is always fun to hang out with old friends... Who are not old ;)
Wednesday night the rest of the party arrived. Donnie and Catherine got into town and were there before we got home from our day excursion and Stacy, Matt and the girls arrived in time to go to bed.
Thursday, hubby flew back into town and got there around dinner time. We had spent the majority of the day hanging with the fam, including Taylor! I am not sure how we got so lucky that he was willing to spend so much time with us. But I am really quite thankful that he took some time out of his busy graduating high school life to spend time with people who drove 12 hours to see him!
