Jurassic Quest

As part of Clay's birthday, Diana had bought tickets to a really fun dinosaur experience!  Pre-COVID, it would have been held inside, in a really large auditorium type place.  But, because everyone is social distancing, and trying not to spread germs, they figured out a different way to do it.  They put everything out in a parking lot, and you drive through it in your car!  Because it was on the way back to Fort Bragg for Diana, we drove both cars to Atlanta.  But, once we got there, we piled into our big van, Karen, so we could enjoy the experience together!

So, you drive around the parking lot, looking out the windows looking at dinosaurs!

Most of the dinosaurs had signs that told you what they were and how to pronounce it.

They also usually moved somehow, and/or had noises in the background.  We downloaded the soundtrack and tour guide on Justin's phone, and played it through the van radio.
I won't bother to caption each of the following pictures.  They speak for themselves :)

While Kari may have been a bit on the "too big" side to find it as fascinating as the other kids, she was a good sport about coming and participating anyway :)

We brought the dogs, of course, rather than leaving them at home alone.  And Sienna seemed to be pretty impressed with the large predators outside her window.
Not everyone was impressed with all of the dinosaurs.  Good news is: she survived!
At the end of the tour, they stopped us to take a picture of the whole group.
After observing dinosaurs, we went lunch, and then split ways.

It was lovely to have our friends here with us!  I am so glad we can keep being friends, even miles apart!
