On of the reason we (I) became disenchanted with Martial Arts is because the studio that we attend required that you compete at least once a year after a certain belt level in order to keep moving up. This was the one (and only competition that the kids attended). Both Kari and Dylan competed in the form competition. It was held in a gym, that with that many kids was decently loud.
Kari competed the orange stripe belt form because she liked it better than the green form. And she won 2nd (out of 2.... yes, she knows what that means)!
Dylan competed with the green belt form and won 3rd place!
It was an experience for sure!
